I think your sim card holds the address book info. So once you change the sim card over to a new phone, it should be ready for use ?

The cold weather isn't good for any electronic.
Hot weather is bas also. Any extreme conditions should be avoided. How old is the phone ? Do you still have a warranty ? Who is your service provider ?

Thanks

Try taking the battery out and the reinserting it. Then power up the phone. If this works, the problem may be that the contacts on your battery are dirty...clean them with a stiff brush.

My phone came preset to be saving numbers the the phone, and I didn't realize it at first (it's an option when you enter the number.) Just to make sure, go to phonebook, menu, copy, then copy all to sim. If you already had some of these numbers on your sim, it will make duplicates, but it's easy to delete them.
