All you have to do is call into T-Mobile Customer Care (Rated best customer service by JD Powers and assoc. 2004) and ask to speak to the tech dept. They will either shoot you a test message with all of the settings or walk you through. I had them walk me through and it only took about 15 minutes. It only took that long because I wanted the MMS settings as well.
