Just purchase a Motorola V80 and am having some problems. I have uploaded some wallpaper into phone that I used successfully on my V600 and it looks terrible on the V80, size is 175x220 pix.,looks like a pic that has been enlarged too much... tried to resize it to larger size in photo program and reload ... still looks terrible..tried changing the resolution on phone to all choices up to 640x480 and looks terrible.looks slightly better if centered but are small....tried several different wallpapers and all do the same thing. the motorola factory installed wallpapers dont look bad...anyone else have this problem and know the answer??

🙂 Solved problem.I was using the data cable and phone tools that I bought for my V600 to load wallpapers.they will go into the V80 but they look awful.
when I switched to the bluetooth connection and software to load graphics they looked great.

I purchased the bluetooth dongle (thats what the part that connects to your computer is called) off ebay for around $20.00 it should come with software. Install the software first and reboot computer, then plug in the dongle. your V80 has the bluetooth already in it... set your phone to bluetooth on,and then put it in discover mode... start the s0ftware for the dongle and choose to discover all within range... they should find each other,,, if it asks for a password, most use the default one which is four zeros...0000
I think once you have them communicating you will see that bluetooth is much faster and handier to use than the cable.. and your pictures will look right... delete the ones installed by the cable to save memory space.

i figured it out...it was because my pictures were too large since they were jpeg's. i switched them to gif's and they come out fine
