I think all new model phones should come standard with a camera. It is the future in wireless network. No more caller ID but picture ID.

It's a useful feature for many people. However, a large and increasing number of companies do not allow camera phones on company property, to protect against corporate espionage. Therefore, carriers need to continue offering at least some non-camera phones.

Kyocera's Phantom/Rave/Blade series has always been entry-level, so cost could be the determining factor here. I'm sure Verizon would like a full range of PTT phones, including an affordable model like this.
