Sendo Ringtones!?!

I just recently purchased a Sendo M551 from a carrier different from the one I am currently using (Cingular) and I have not been able to download ANY ringtones. Cingular had never heard of the phone before and they would not be able to help me. Can anyone tell me whats wrong or how to fix the problem? Is it a carrier issue or a phone issue?
