Audiovox CDM-8910 / PM-8912 / Flasher V7

the original two tone blue and silver cover is scratched an the plastic screen cover is cracked, so i want to buy a new one. i saw a chrome faceplate on accesory geeks. i dont kno what these things do. the last time i bought a cover was for my nokia 5165 which had user interchangable covers that snap on and off. wouldnt i have to take my phone apart to install this cover? i dont want to do that.
