Is there any way to remove the "Verizon Wireless" logo from appearing on the external LCD display. It's very annoying when you're trying to read the time and you have to wait for 5 seconds for the logo to disappear. Thanks!

Yes there is. Click Menu, Settings (7), System (6), ERI Banner (4), Off. This was the first thing I did when I got mine!
