I Find when talking on this Phone it gets really hot really fast, sometimes only after ten minutes or so. This happens even faster when I talk on it when its charging, for obvious reasons it seems thats not a good idea.. well I heard a myth that the phone will actually explode if it gets too hott!! can anyone confirm this as true? I guess it could happen with most phones... I dunno am I alone on this??? 🤭 🤭

It will get warm, but it shouldn't get uncomfortably hot.

"Rechargeable batteries should be cycled - fully charged and then fully discharged - 2 to 4 times initially to allow them to reach their full capacity. (Note: it is perfectly normal for a battery to become warm to the touch during charging and discharging)."

During charging and discharging? Wouldn't that mean all of the time? When it is plugged in it is charging. When its not its discharging, right?

PS - My 8910 does this also.

You don't have the backlight set to always on do you? Check to make sure the screen goes dark when you are talking on it. If you have the backlight set so it is always on it will get hot. It is not going to blow up in a ball of fire and take your head with it, the phone would break and shut off before that happenend🙂
