and saw that some people said they got this phone for $40.00. Is that possible? I ahve only seen it at $169. Thanks!

I know for a fact the $169 is what it costs if you purchase it from Virgin Mobile. I would guess that the $40 might be if you sign up with a contract at Verizon.

$40~$49 for 2yrs with Verizon
