I was aware of the two different networks, but reps at T-Mobile thought an unlocked 7510 might work on T-Mobile.
I've had consistently positive experiences with T-Mobile reps
, but this was an uncertain response, more of a best-guess.
Nextel would cost me quite a bit more for monthly service than T-mobile here in Los Angeles. I get a $10/month discount on T-Mobile Hotspots if I also have a T-Mobile cell-phone plan. Plus, the Nextel data plan for the Blackberry is more expensive than T-Mobile.
So it appears to be no-go for a Blackberry with speakerphone at this time on my current budget.
