internet question?
i just purchased this phone yesterday and i found out that i cannot download any ringtones because my phone is from asia. has anyone out there figured out a way to surf the web on a motorola v878?? i wish someone would've told me before i bought this phone.

I have this phone on the T-Mobile network and it works just fine. I have internet ands picture messaging capabilities.

Talk to a data specialist and tell him that u have a phone with that same software of a v300 and u need a update of the setting to launch the browser.

I'm using this phone w/Tmobile, the phones great, but still can't get the browser working. Any suggestions ( I tried the v300 comparison and that didn't work) Thanks!

The Motorola V878 is a Chinese market phone however; it is possible to use the phone with T-Mobile service.
From the Main Menu screen navigate to Browser.
Scroll to and select Profiles.
NOTE: A list of HK service providers with their GPRS/WAP settings will appear.
Select the first profile and then select Rename, clear and enter "t-zones GPRS", select Save.
Select the t-zones GPRS profile and select Edit.
The following menu options appear (do not forget to save).
