Voice echo problem?

Although LG generally tends to mark high on reception and clarity, I've read in numerous places that LG phones have been known to produce an echo during conversations. One of the reviewers for this particular model also mentions it, so I'm wondering...How common is the problem for you other VX3200 owners? Does it echo all the time? Only occasionally? Under what conditions (if you can tell)?

How would you characterize the echo, and to what extent does it affect your conversations?

I'm trying to choose between this phone and Samsung's a650. I need a reliable phone that, above all, has good reception and voice clarity, minimal dropped calls/breakup, and an easy-to-use interface. Any opinions, recommendations, or warnings?

I had the same concern after reading reviews. I've only logged a few minutes over several different calls so far, so I don't have the greatest perspective, but seeing as no one else has answered - I've heard so far two of my sentences echoed. Just a random sentence in the middle of a conversation, on two separate occasions.

Voice echos are a network issue, independent of the phone being used.
