Especially with the report that almost all handsets come with bumps on the screen...and for $300 with a 2 year contract? i would much rather have the g2 for far less. i cant see this being a top seller. more likely a flop. imho.

if it flops or not. Flexible screens are finally here. And that's a good thing. The technology will only get better from here on out. I don't want the phone either. But short of Google's Project Ara, it's the most exciting thing that has happened to phones in a few years.

I would like the phone but my contact isnt up til november! boo, by then there will be better phones out already. $300 is not bad for a phone with 32 gb, im reading that is 24 gb user, but im not sure if this phone can expand like some other phones. I saw the nokia 1520, it was a HUGE phone and the screen is SO awesome! Wish nokia would stop using windows OS and get on android, Nokia will thrive if they join google, but that's another story

While I'm not a Windows Mobile fan, I do think an alternative OS is a good thing, Nokia may have done better with Android, but not sure if they would have done great, or even better then they're doing at present. Only company making killer money with Android (outside of Google, and its schemes) is Samsung. LG, Sony seem to be doing better. But still.

BTW in a month or so, it will not be Nokia as in its phone division.

As far as the LG G Flex, I'm honestly not sure what to think, its expensive but as an earlier post said, its spec'd high. I differently will check one out to see what its like. LG has really come a long way on the past year or two to their credit. And finally, not in the market for a new phone.

Depending whom your carrier is, Monday Moto is having another $150.00 sale day on the Motorola X. Decent price for a great phone, and no contract extensions if bought without contract.

I don't think it's flexible. It's curved, but I don't think you can bend it.

According to our training documents it can be "flattened for a period of time"...no indication on how long though...

Ah yes, I see that in some of the information online. The thought of doing that to a phone gives me the willies though.

If I was in the marketplace for a higher end phone, I would most defiently go with something new and innovating other than something boring and regular like the iPhone 5s.
