Have you seen a Nokia ClearBlack display? It has an extra layer that most LCDs don't, that makes the blacks blacker. Basically, it's supposed to be an LCD with the performance of an OLED. If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check it out in person.

Yeah but it's still pentile. It's 2013, no manufacturer should be using a pentile matrix on it's display. The Nokia ClearBlack display's aren't bad but there's still that over saturation and ugly yellow tint that AMOLED screens usually have. It makes everything look like cartoon. Nothing beats a pure IPS display like the HTC One. No pentile, no AMOLED, no bull$hit. Pure whites, you can see it in daylight and everything looks natural.

If it looks good, then it's good enough. Don't be hating about the technology they use to accomplish it's purpose, if it works it works!
Apple has been using it's very own, and old, Retina Display for years and no one's complaining, I mean it's not even full HD!
If you don't like it, then don't buy it. It's that simple.

It is not a pen-tile matrix display, is not even an AMOLED display. Is a good LCD with great viewing angles (most likely In Plane Switching).

The guy is complaining just because.
