LG VX-7000
got mine on 6/29 in so cal
just letting the group know that i purchased my vx7000 in los angeles yesterday on June 29. I got mine at the store at the beverly connection across from the beverly center. after a 70 buck rebate the phone price is 180 for a two year contract.
so far i love the phone but i don't know if i'm gonna keep it or not. i love all the features of the phone. but i thought i would be able to get my pictures off the phone with a data cable.
DOES ANYONE IN THE GROUP KNOW IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET IMAGES OFF THE PHONE (OR THE VX6000) WITH A DATA CABLE CONNECTED TO THE COMPUTER?
if the only way to get images off the phone is to email them to yourself then i think that is a big problem and not worth keeping the phone.

It is possible to get pictures off your LG VX6000 with a data cable to your computer thanks to the wonderful independent programmers at:

By using a program called bitpim, as you can see they are working on expanding the number of phones that this software is compatible with and I'm sure they'll make it compatible with the LG VX7000, it works great with the LG VX6000 I have now.

I just went to the store there, and they do not have it on display. I asked a guy, and he gave me a freaking runaround. I got really aggrivated and left. How did you get yours??

i called up the store yesterday morning and talked to a dude who works there on the phone. i asked him if they had the phone. he said yes and put one on hold for me because i was at work and couldn't get there until the end of the day. when i got to the store they had two vx7000's on display. they had one in the front right of the store and one in the middle/back left of the store kinda behind the counter. i asked the sales person if they still had one on hold for me and they did. then they sold it to me. i was suprised they had the phone and that they sold it before the release date but they didn't seam to think it was a big deal at all. they were all very nice and helpful. they probably either ran out of phones to sell or were tol...
