problem with memory

I'm trying to put some new ringtones on my phone but when i try to save the sound, it keeps saying memory full. I had already deleted all my pics and video clips as well as a majority of my previously downloaded ringtones and the "memory full" message still pops up. Does anyone know what i need to do to make some room?

I believe the "memory full" message has to do with your GetItNow memory. If you go into your menu and highlight the GetItNow box you'll see an info option pop up on soft key 2, from there you can check your memory usage and a few other things. As far as clearing it out I'm not really sure how but I'm guessing you can delete any expired trial games if you have any. I know they use a lot of memory if you have too many. Hope that helps

Try taking the battery off the phone while it's on aka hardboot. That should clear out the memory that's not in use, but still being reported as in use.

You can disable some of the GIN downloads by going to the "Manage Apps" settings for GIN. The 7000 has 4mb of memory so you should be able to have a few things on there. I have 4 games and I make my own ringers and have approx 40 on my phone at this time with no problems. If you continue to have probs I suggest taking it to your local Verizon and let a tech look at it and if there is a prob mybe they can replace your phone under the Fru/warranty policy....Hope that helps a bit
