Recording your own ringtones

Just got the VX7000 and am fooling around with recording my own ringtones (just recording the persons voice and/or music).

When you record something, the phone assigns the recording a number. I can't seem to find a way to edit this number to a more recognizable title. Also, I am unable to figure out how you delete unwanted recordings.

I've checked the manual, but it doesn't even seem to address recording features at all.

Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks in advance.

I can't help you with the editing, but I can tell you how to delete unwanted ringtones.

Press MENU button

Using the right/left rocker arm...go to "Get It Now"

Go to "Get Tunes and Tones"

Press OK and a list of all the current ringtones will lbe displayed.

Hikghlight to ringtone to be deleted and press the left soft key "Erase" and follow the prompts.

To edit the name, follow the path the last poster wrote:

Highlight the one you want to edit, and hit the button above the camera logo on your phone and select edit.
