I'm getting myself a new phone soon. But I just don't know which one I'm getting!
I'm in between the Note3, GS4, HTC One and the LG G2.

I like the Note3 features and all, but the dang thing is just too big! The S4 is good, like the Note3 but smaller, but I don't know. The G2 specs are way too cool... but it's an LG. The One is good too, I love BeatsAudio! But as with the G2, the sealed battery and no SD card slot kills it for me. So I'm not quite sure here... ☚ī¸

Any help will be greatly appreciated! 🙂

If you want everything and the kitchen sink, the Note 3 is your only option. But beware it comes with the kitchen sink. If you just can't get past that gorgeous, ginormous, uber-useful screen, then I would recommend the mostly comparable GSIV with its more manageable screen size. Every other phone has some glaring fault that would disqualify it in my mind. I'm not even considering anything other than these two devices right now. And really my mind is made up on the Note 3. All the benefits of having a device that large and powerful outweigh the inconvenience of the size in my mind.

I would also mention that the latest Sony Experia device looks really compelling. But Sony lost my trust years ago when they were installing rootkits on thei...

I would also step away from the LG and HTC. The sealed battery and storage limitation kills it for me too. You have a top-of-the-line phone but you're unable to remove/change the battery and you're unable to expand its storage capacity at will, WTF??? A quality phone should allow its user to do this!

The Note3 and S4 sound about right.
I have the S4 and I'm pleased with the phone. Highly recommended!

I'm gonna have to agree with both of u this time. Sealed battery and non-expandable storage was my concern (which I was thinking of pass by), but it is some sorta big deal for me. Plus, of specs, I'm gonna go with Samsung this time. I'll have to wait 'til I try the Note3 to decide tho'.
Thnx guys!

If the HTC One had been waterproof, then I would be okay with no changeable battery, but I laugh when everyday I see some poor Iphone sucker carrying around their charger looking for a place to plug it in at the mall or in a restaurant. (or sealed Android user, too). When I get home at night, I have a fresh GS4 battery charged in the external charger which you can buy on Amazon for like $19. You will be able to buy a spare Note 3 battery for about $7 or so on Amazon in just a few weeks. Don't worry about buying the OEM ones. I can head out with a half charged battery, or in under 60 seconds, a fresh one is installed and my phone is booting back up. LOVE IT.

I had the Note 2 and adored it. Then I went to the GS4 because of some of the n...

Thnx! I think I'll be gettin' the Note 3. But, until I test it personally, I'll still be thinking about the chance of getting the S4 as well. Def., these are the Droids I've been looking for! 😁

Darkitty,
You should also consider the Nexus 5, I do know your post is over a month old. But came late to these posts.

Don't discount LG, yes they made some dogs, but so has Samsung and most other brands. If the size is the issue, then the Nexus 5 or to a lessor extent, G2 are great alternatives. Friend at work for the G2 on VZW and played with it, really nice. As far as sealed battery, that doesn't bother me, but to each their own. Choice is good and with Android, that choice is provided.

It's Poison Ivy now, changed user name. 😛

It's too late already... I went for the Note 3. No regrets! Luv it!

I've checked the Nexus 5, and I must say I wouldn't had chose it. Lack of memory card slot and sealed battery bugs me alot! Deal breaker. Plus, it's an LG. I haven't had much luck with LG devices personally. Tho' I was initially tempted by the G2 display.

Thnx for your advise tho'! 😁
