since you apparently own this phone can u answer these questions...
1) Can u access the phonebook w/o opening the phone, from the external screen?
If so, can u press like 3, and it will bring u to the D's, and if u press 3 again, it will bring u to the E's?
2) Is the phone comfortable to talk on, w/o the speaker, when its closed?
3) If you make a call when its open, it activates the speaker right? so if u close it, will speaker still be on, or will it go back to the regular way you talk on a phone?
If it stays on speaker when its closed, is it possible to go back to the other way?

2. Yes. I rarley hold the phone to talk. I use my bluetooth headset.
3. Yes. Yes.
I don't have a problem with RF in my area. I had the V600, V505, and V551 and its signal has most of the bars all of the time. I even get RF in rural areas, whereas I didn't get that with T-Mobile service.
I'm using this phone with Cingular service.

im new to bluetooth so can someone explain how it works...as far as the battery, (leaving it on) and the difference between all the motorola ones and which one i should get?
