i think the people that are crazy about text messaging will love it, otherwise, i'd just go with a v600 or something, if you look at specs, it's basically a v600 with a fancy flip open design with a qwerty keyboard...

Man, this thing is getting soooooo close to that perfect form factor that seems to be eluding us. A basic small and manageable phone for 80% use that opens up to what appears to be a blackberry like interface for text messaging on a landscape oriented screen with a qwerty keyboard (I still hate the stylus.) Just add a good processor, apps for email checking, web, word docs, excel sheets, expandable memory, 3G/edge and an easy way to transfer data and I cant think of anything else id ever need.

The Moto MPX that's due out later this year will incorporate some of that. You can see it on Howard Forums. It looks a lot like this A630. I'd love to have this phone, but I'd still keep my V600.

😈 Sorry Tara but id take anything over the V400 or V600. This cant be worse than either of those 2 phones.

I think people will buy it. My question is with the internal antenna, how will reception be? The MPX 200 had an internal antenna and reception was terrible. Are the keys on the keypad lighted?

I'm a gadget whore-- I'd buy it. Might even think about leaving VZW service for it. 😕 Maybe not. GSM is horrendous around my parts.
