I have waited with all of you. i really have. now i find out the blackberyy 7100t is being released monday the 14th. I am tired of waiting and i think i am going to go with that. For $249 thats not bad.

Can someone please tell me if they think this is a bad decision. 😕

Just be sure you get the 7100g and not the 7100t or you'll have the wrong version. 🤣

I have waited for an eternity it seems and I am going to order the 7100G as well. It has more memory and it looks as though the only thing you are sacrificing is a mediocre quality camera. You also get HTML support instead of WAP only! 199 for A630 or 249 for the 7100G,Not a huge leap....

How do you order one? I have looked online and called Cingular. Nobody there seems to know what's going on. This has been really frustrating. 😡

The problem comes in your monthly data fees. Beware of Cingular's data prices. Unless you go with unlimited, you will need to watch your quota of transferred data as well.

This was the tipping point to keep me at WAP and with t-mobile.

Wait, does it make a difference? The whole 7100 line is quad-band so as long as you buy an unlocked one (or get yours unlocked somewhere) shouldn't they all be the same?

I'm considering getting the 7100g as well. I'm just tired of waiting on the A630. I'll probably pick it up and if the a630 comes out in the trial time I'll make a decide then which is better.

I was thinking the same thing but from the reviews I've been reading it may not be worth it. I'm really NOT wanting a PDA/phone that's why I wanted the A630 and it seems like the only other NON PDA phone with a qwerty style keyboard is the LG which I'm also hearing is not worth the money...

Only you can know if it going to be a bad decision. If you want a PDA phone combo then it may be the right phone for you. (and cheaper than the tro 650. For me, (and me only) while the 7100g is a cool looking phone, it would be more than what I need. For me it would be like paying for all the speciall "off road" suports for a SUV that's never going to be used off road. (But if you do go off road it's well worth the cost!) Good luck and hope you won't regret your decision whatever you decide on. 🙂
