Motorola A630
Address book (multiple numbers per name)
Thanks!
By the way ...I switched from the Nokia 6600 because it was too big, and I didn't need all the extras, plus to get AIM, it would have required downloads, etc...not for me.
Only real knock on the phone so far is that the volume could go a little higher...also, when I set up bluetooth, the ringer is never what i originally set it too.
Make sure all entries are exactly the same(not John Home, John cell, John work. Just John)
Then, while in the phone book, press the menu button, scroll up to setup, view and choose Primary Contacts.
Also on all bt moto's I know of, when you connect a bt headset, the ringer style switches to loud. If your loud settings are not the same as your others, you will get different ringer tones. After you connect bt headset, you can switch back to the ringer style of you choice if you like.
Note: Nokia phones do allow the actual ringtones to go to bt headset, not some silly default ringer.
Hopefully moto will fix this in the future.
I then did what you said, but I don't notice anything different.
I like the phone, but this is ridiculous.
Does it sound like I did something wrong, or is this as good as it's gonna get for now?
if you save your contacts to the phone, you can attach several numbers to a name, and only the primary number will show up in the menu if you configure it thusly.
I turned the View back to All and I could see all numbers from the external keypad again.
Do other people get the same behavior?
