unlocking a630 from t-mobile

if i purchase this phone from t-mobile and have it unlocked will cingulars apps work on it (media net/media mall)? i can't wait any longer on cingular.

Hang in there for just a few more weeks. The word is that it should be out before the middle of February. Also the locked phone from cingular is supposedly an upgrade and more advance than t-moble's a630.
