Motorola A630
Release date.
When the crap is this darn thing coming out for cingular man. I just want a peaceful texting life without pressing one button 16 times to get the desired letter i need. Motorola, its not that hard to tell people when it's coming out for cingular and aint that many test( I hope) that you can run on this phone to keep pushing it back.

I haven't seen a date that it'll be released for Cingular. Yet, when I was logged in to Media Net to download some screen savers, ringtones, etc., I clicked on Motorola (since I have a V551) and the A630 was one of the choices on the list to select. Evidently, Cingular must be planning on releasing it sometime soon. Otherwise, why would it be one of the Motorola phone choices for ringtones, screensavers, etc.??? That's just my assumption.
At the beginning of November, I inquired about it with one of the Cingular reps and all she said is that the phone model is available for T-Mobile. I hope that it's released soon.

Thats better than i got. The rep acted like i was stupid because she had never heard of the phone before. She pretty much called me a lier. I inquired a person who is in charge of a cingular program that i am in and they said that they would try to get some info on the date for me. I just asked the other so i have yet to get an answer.

Now, I see that Cingular has an LG model that will be competing with the a630.

if you're referring to the LG F9100, why yes, that phone does look quite attractive if you don't need a camera or bluetooth.

According to the information we have at Cingular it was supposed to be released around the 22nd of december. However it hasn't and they have not updated the previous statement. ☹️
