Where has everyone been getting the online relase date of Dec. 22 by Cingular.
I called....No info. I'm assuming it will be online....first?

i'm in sales and we received an email that stated around the 22nd, but when we look in the inventory it states 01/02/05 is when we will get the first shipment phones in so theres no exact date yet, i'm still waiting myself

I'm a Cingular CSE Rep. From what I've heard 12/22 or 12/27 is the "date" but expect it to be available by 1/15/05. Its going to take about 2 weeks to stock it and get the info updated on the websites and in the sales systems. BTW I am waiting for this phone!!!!!!!!!!

i went to cingular two weeks back.. and the manage saw my a630 my tmobile.. he claimed that cingular will be having it soon in black.. as to exactly when.. i never bothered to ask.. they're taking too long as it is..

For what it is worth, I was in a Cingular store over the weekend and was told "Cingular will be releasing a bunch of phones between now and Feb 8th" He sounded confident by saying the A630, Treo and the SE S 710 are included in those that are coming before the 8th, with the new LG to follow right after those. He also said the A630 was just apporved by Cingular(no idea what that means) The manager said something about Cingular buying At T and buying the whole American Idol thing. He claims the phones should be out prior to the text voting starts.
