Motorola V400

Hi. Can somebody help me with my MPT. I have the latest version and P2K as well. I was able to use both of them before without any problem. But now my MPT cannot upload the file from my phone (V400)as it doesn't detect it. Though when i look at the device manager there is the Motorola driver but without the motorola USB device. But it will show up when im using P2k. Also, can't you not use the MPT and the P2k at the same time? How can i make my MPT recognize the motorola USB device connected.
