😡
Okay, so I REALLY want to make my own MP3 ringtones and play around with my phone, but I am a little computer challenged, or at least I feel that way. I have a few questions:
1.) I have an internet connection on my phone, so when I connect my USB to my computer and run mobile phone tools do I need to connect to the internet that's on my phone for it to work?
2.) I believe that when I connect my USB to phone and computer it recognizes it, but all it will ever do is say "initializing"...it never connects...WHY?! I have Windows 98 by the way and the most current version of MPT.
3.) I also have downloaded the PST and motorola USB driver altough I don't know if I need it for MPT to work.
ANy help/answers would be greatly appreciated...

Windows 98 doesn't support USB... that could be a BIG part of the problem!

I think it does though, doesn't it? I had a webcam before and it connected via USB port and it worked. I guess maybe I should just give up and just have to buy the ringtones 😡

Windows 98 does support USB! Don't give up, it does work. Try this link:

You may have to uninstall some software and start from scratch. Hope this helps, good luck!
