Sounds from side key for ringtone volume adjustment

Does anyone know the seem edits specifically for silencing the sound during volume adjustment (using the external side buttons) without silencing the ringtones also? I tried a posted gain table hack on hofo, but afterwards I couldn't hear phone ring during calls.
