Hey Everyone! First of i just wanted to say Hello and I am new to the board! I have been reading a lot and this is a great site for information on cellular phones! I am fixin to purchase the Moto v400 and I had a few questions before I did if you guys dont mind????

#1) Does the speakerphone work well? Do other people say that they cant hear you well??

#2) Is it true that you have to wait for someone to pick up to go to speakerphone or can you dial the number and then go ahead and hit speakerphone and listen ti it ring??

#3) Does it come with a belt-clip??

#4) Can you take a picture of someone and "attatch" it to a name in your phonebook and when that person calls, their picture pop up? If so, can it pop up on the OUTSIDE of the p...

1) I don't use my speakerphone much, but it has worked great when I have used it. No problem hearing on either end.

2) Yep, you can only switch to speakerphone once the call connects and not while it is still ringing.

3) You can probably get a Cingular rep to give you one with it if you haggle a little with them, but normally no. And the regular plastic clip Cingular has sucks anyway in my opinion. Hey Thanks Brett! I have a few more questions.

Is the text message input the same on the v400 as was the v60 series or is it easier? Like the Nokia's???

Does the Samsung have the speakerphone? Thanks guys!!

No prob.

I used to have a Nokia 3360 myself; never had a V60 though. My old Nokia had an autocomplete feature for words; the V400 has a more advanced autocomplete feature which in some modes offers a few different possible word combinations. It also adds words you've used that it didn't have to it's dictionary.

As for the Samsung phone, the one I've seen had a speakerphone but not as good as the V400 one. Might be a different phone than the one you're referring to though.
