Motorola V400
time change to EST
can someone help me with changing the time on the moto v400 with cingular service. i have it on autoupdate ON... but the time hasnt reverted back to EST. Thanks

Mine failed to change the time too even with autoupdate on. So I just powered it off then back on and the time was corrected.

Mine has always operated the same way. You either have to power it down or wait for somebody to call you (calling your phone doesn't always work), but the power down/on always seems to work.

My V400 changed at the stroke of 2:00 AM. No power cycling was required!
