Just to let y'all know that wireless data can send and OTA text to set the WAP settings and any other setting that you may need. If they say that we do not support this model, just say that it is a 6610, they use the same WAP settings.

Hello gang,

I have a 6820a which I bought in Asia (apparently the 6820b is sold in the U.S.) and I was struggling to get the GPRS to work with Tmobile service in the U.S. Tmobile tried to send me settings direct to the phone, but they never came through. After trying to enter settings they provided, I still couldn't access Tzones through GPRS and Tmobile eventually said they couldn't provide more support because it's not a Tmobile phone...

Thanks to DeLoReAnMcLaReN for providing these settings--it now works!! (I was using the same proxy but with port 9201 as per Tmobile instructions...) I even tried calling Nokia tech support and they gave me the run-around saying that the 6820a is designed for Europe and would not work in the US. ...

So I plugged in all these settings on my 8620 so I can use it with TMobile.

It seems to be ok, but I can't get it to work with email.

It tells me "GPRS access point not valid."

Any advice?
