Carriers?

tf8251

Does anybody know which carrier is going to have to 6820? I currently work for Cingular in Houston, TX and since we have the 6800, I doubt if we'll carry this phone. I would love to get a hold of this phone...it has every feature anybody could want! Please let me know if anybody can get a hold of information concerning this phone.

I work for AT&T Wireless and we received word yesterday that we will be carrying the 6820. Not sure of the release date though. Price for us might be $349.99 with rebates and stuff.

Both Cingular and AT&T Wireless are operating EDGE networks. In fact, Cingular launched theirs about 4 months before AT&T Wireless.

As far as I have heard, though, Cingular's EDGE network is only active in Indianapolis, whereas AT&T has EDGE everywhere they have deployed GSM....

I own a 6820--I got regular calling features to work on T-mobile but couldn't get GPRS to work, so I switched to AT&T Wireless... With much discussion with support I got it to work flawlessly EXCEPT i haven't been able to figure how to mms photos, and i'm looking at how to connect my apple powerbook to the 6820 via bluetooth and then gprs to at&t wireless
