I currently used the 6820 with AT&T service and phone worked great, I recently migrated to Cingular. So I popped in my new sim card, The phone powers up with Cingular on the screen, I can make phone calls but can't get on the the Cingular network, When I hold down the zero key like I did with AT&T the phone tries to connect to mMode.

Any help,

Are there two different firmware phones for each carrier? The phone is unlocked.

now to select the MMS settings

messages (envelope icon) -> message settings -> multimedia messages -> connection settings -> active multimedia settings -> from here you select "Cingular MMS" (or whatever nokia titles it for ...
