Currently I use the Sanyo VM4500. It is having a lot of network problems and has been having netwoork problems since the day I got it. I have the chance to get this phone without having to pay anything and was wondering if it would be a smart or dumb change. I have had two other samsung's and did not like them, however, the reviews are outstanding on this phone. Anyone have any suggestions, Sanyo or Samsung???

It's really your preference as to which brand you like. I have owned both the vm4500 and now this model. I usually lean toward Samsung because of call and camera quality. I am actually having more fun with this one than the sanyo. It just seems easier to get to where I want to be in the menu system and more user friendly. The screen although much smaller is more crisp and clear. The video doesn't move as smooth but hey, it's a video phone. I had the same problems you are having with the vm4500 and am not having them with this phone so it's probably worth a try. If you don't like it use your 15 days and take it back. Good Luck! I finally found those clear calls the guy on the commercials talks about 🙂

People who I talk to on a regular basis said that they could hear me so much better on the Samsung than the Sanyo. Personally there are more fun things with this phone than with the Sanyo (at least that I would use or like). I am going to miss the Sanyo blue, however, the Samsung 680 silver is more appealing than other Sprint silver. I am not really sure about the reception but on the Samsung there are 6 bars instead of 4 (like the Sanyo) and it seems that I am getting about the same reception. The other thing is with all reception on the Samsung the calls sound the same a...
