Had a Nokia a long time ago that had a nice feature: when the phone was off, the alarm would still sound.

Since then, have only had Samsung phones. Have always wished they too had this feature.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have the feature where the phone's alarm goes off when it turns off. But this feature isn't found on Sprint Samsung's. My cousins have the E-105 and the E-715 and they have the feature that you like. They have T-mobile. I think that GSM Samsung's have it, but CDMA Samsung's don't. Not sure; I'm just guessing between GSM and CDMA; I know about Sprint and T-mobile Samsung's.

I just picked up this phone today, so to answer my own question: nope, doesn't work. Too bad - I really like that feature.

I'd also like to be able to set the ringer level to medium, say 5, and also have the phone vibrate. But in order to have the ringer and the vibrator work together, the ringer has to be all the way up. If the phone is in my pocket, I often can't hear it if I'm in a noisy environment, so I like to have it vibrate as well...pull it out of your pocket though, and it's loud as hell if you have the ringer all the way up.

All my Samsung phones have been like that though...would love to see a change in that area in upcoming phones.

Still waiting for Vision to kick in. So far all is well with the phone though - sound...
