how do you display a picture for an incoming call on the EXTERNAL LCD?

does anyone know how to do this?...the previous instructions work on the internal display but not the EXTERNAL display. can someone please help?...thanks

First go into your phonebook and select an entry to edit. After yor press OK, scroll down until you see the words NO IMAGE. Press the OK key. This will take you to the Image menu. You can select from several pre-loaded icons (people, animals, etc.) or you can use a downloaded image. The pre-loaded images will display on the external LCD for an incoming call, but the downloaded images will only diplay on the internal display. I'm still trying to figure out a workaround for that issue. If you want to use a picture you have taken yourself, do the following. Press the camera button, then 3, then select "In Camera" or "Saved to Phone," highlight a picture, and press MENU. Next Press OK to assign the picture to a Picture ID. This should take yo...

I spoke with Samsung technical support today, and was told that the phone cannot use downloaded images for the external display. Apparently, this is a limitation of the software and not the hardware. Unfortunately, there is not likely to be a new software release for this phone (according to tech support.) Disappointing. Still a great phone though.

wow!...thanks for the extra effort man. the thing i did was just open the images onto the computer screen using window picture viewer and just take a picture of the image with the camera...the color is slightly more dull but the clarity is not all that bad...try that too. thanks again!
