Hey, well it's probably way too late for advice but I'm bored at work so I'll throw a couple of bits in..

I'm surprised that people aren't instead asking for reasons not to buy a Blackberry..

Over the past few years the #1 current affair when it comes to computing devices (and our lives with them) is security.

Now, Google rakes in mucho $ from its advertising, and to maximize that money, it spies on you. The Fed (or various agencies) are also actively spying on practically everyone (for whatever reason), and they seem really chummy with Google. So don't go Android.

Apple is probably more secure and less menacing to your personal privacy, but since Apple has probably been the biggest target for industrial espionage, so Google knows how to hack in anyway, and they have, the outcome being that it's fine as long as the consumer can't prove that they've been 'injured' by it.

Blackberry is still the only OS and device manufacturer that has an unsullied reputation for the protection of its consumers privacy (if anyone has information otherwise please reply) - so go with them, and don't trade your security for marketing kitsch.
