How many mp3 songs on 1gig mmc?

Whats the maximum mp3 files u can place on the 1gig mmc card? Also, is 1gig the max the fone can handle? my fone firmware is 4.43 Thanx for ur responses.

i fit about 100 mp3's 2 full movies and an episode of family guy on my 1gb mmc
and it's reading 356 mb still free

so im guessing around 400 mp3's

What brand MMC card are you using? I understand that not all 1gig cards are recognized by 6230b. Thanx for your responses.

i use a kingmax 1gb MMC from www.newegg.com
cost around $67 including shipping and worked right out of the box
just got a card reader and dragged and dropped about 100 songs on it right now and some family guy episodes and no problems

Did u format that 1gig with the fone or with a seperate card reader? if card reader, which one? thanx.

I didn't format anything
the card came to my house formatted
just popped it into my card reader, dragges and dropped about 2 movies and 70 mp3's and put it into the phone and voila, i was good to go!
