I recently bought a 32mb card from Staples for $29.99, plus a reader for $20 or $30. They didn't have them in the store, so they ordered them and shipped them to my house. The card was an MMC, for an NGage, but same format as for this phone, I believe.

thank you for the info. what format should i be looking for to be compatible with this particular phone? i haven't gotten my 6230 yet because i just had to ship back my BB 7100g (decided it was too bulky and my company is giving me a laptop to check email remotely anyway).

thanks again!

I understand some manufacturers' MMC cards don't work well, but http://www.meritline.com/atp-mmc-multimedia-c ard-512mb.html works fine for me...

www.cellphoneshop.net is a good place for MMC, as well as other accessories.
