mp3's as ringtones

i have some ringtones which are mp3's. When i have my phone on 'silent' these still ring. the pre-loaded ringones are o.k. any ideas? 😎

when you choose "silent", customize it and remove any ringtone listed there.

I'm confused ... so can you actually use the MP3's that are saved to your phone as ringtones? The manual doesn't actually ever say that you can. Has anyone successfully done this before?

I've done it. The manual never tells you everything, you have to use your imagination. 🙂
