How is it that this place can offer the 6230 with a Tmobile plan, but Tmobile itself doesn't? Anyone shopped here before?

Not exactly sure why, but it's probably similar to the situation where Best Buy and other retailers sometimes get phones before the actual service provider does. For example, for Cingular the Samsung P107 hasn't been officially released yet (at least according to this site) and it's already available at my local Best Buy. It is not however available yet at my local Cingular store.

By the way on the just-talk.com website you can also get the 6230 with Cingular as well.

One more thing. The 6230 that is offered on just-talk.com's website is the world version, not the 850mhz version. That version hasn't been released yet.

The world version is just fine for T-mobile as they are exlusively 1900. And the 850 version should be out _very_ soon with Cingular as a few were already for sale on another website.

I'm curious about the 850 version. I see the ones on eBay are listed as 850/900. What's the deal? I thought it was either/or?

Yeah, it was a scam. The guy says he's from the US, but his english is terrible. Then, although the bid was at $400, he said he's sell it to me for $250 including shipping from Romania. Then he tells me to go to a Western Union center to wire him the money directly. I did a little googling and found out these Romanians hack into eBay accounts, post another email address and scam people all day. People need to get a life!

lol..yeah.. it gives all romanians a bad name..

However the site I saw them at was on HoFo, one of the people there had gotten ahold of a few and had pics confirming that that they were 6230b(850 version) and I beleive sold them to some folk on that board. I have not seen them on any commercial sites yet..
