I miss my Nokia ...!!!

Getting a little "long in the tooth" I really wanted a 6230 or 6620 - and ended up with a RAZR V3 instead. ONLY because I really had a hard time trying to make out the Menu Selections, verbage and icons on the display screen.

I've had Nokia's for the past 13 years and am having a hard time trying to deal with the Moto's functionality (or lack therof) and their ****** address book!

Does the 6230 have ANY capability for making the screens easier to read (like larger fonts, solid white backgrounds with a "bold" typeface, etc, etc.).

I'm looking for ANY excuse that will make the 6230 more "usable" for me so I can return the V3 (although the call quality is very good)!

Thanks for any help ...

I bought a 6230 over the V3 because of it's features and rock solid software.. The looks are good, but they don't matter after a while. The main thing is the features and relialibility. Nokia's have proved over and over again that they rule in getting the best signal, have the best software and the best features. 6230 is no exception. I thought that the font size on this phone is good enough.. even though I'm not very happy with the camera. I also like blue-tooth and have installed many games on it. What do you think of S66?

To get a white background screen and better contrast, in SETTINGS set WALLPAPER to none.
Then in SETTING/COLOR SCHEMES pick a color that give you the best contrast against this background. I found BLUE worked good.

To get a LIST instead of the unreadable icon GRID on MENU, set SETTINGS/DISPLAY/MENU to LIST.

To personalize the 6230 for quick access to the functions you use the most, organize and order the GOTO list in SETTINGS/PERSONAL SHORTCUTS/GOTO OPTIONS, to add remove functions, and ORGANIZE GOTO to put the GOTO list in your top to bottom priority order.

No need to add functions already preassigned shortcut keys by Nokia like CONTACTS, CAMERA, DIALED NUMBERS
