Hey guys,

I just got the 6230 and it's a great phone. I Was wondering what USB Cable do I need to transfer MP3's and other files to the Nokia phone? I'm assuming it's not a USB to USB cable, so can anyone provide the cable name or just provide me with a good website to buy it from? Can I buy it from any retail stores? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

its called a "DKU-2" cable, its usb 1.1 speed and the BEST place to buy it is to go to any OLD att wireless store (NOT KIOSK) that has been converted to a new cingular store, in there they will have a clearance area where you should find a white box with the DKU-2 cable, its really cheap compared to anywhere else you can find it

You can also use a card reader which is available at any best buy or circuit city store. Remove the Memory Card from the back of your phone, insert in reader and you can transfer MP3s to the card. Reinsert in your phone and access your MP3s.

card reader/writer is good for transfaring large files like mp3 albums or movie files because any other method is very slow

but u cant transfar games or applications with a card reader/writer only a connector like a DKU-2 or bluetooth etc can do this

also beware of cheap cables as they tend not to work
