Audiovox CDM-9900

Getting so annoying!

I've never had problems with it until recently, with data sending.

I had a 9900 that worked for about a year, still works fine with the exception of Get It Now and phone to phone picture messaging. It was a data corruption they think at VZW. I got it replaced and I have a brand new 9900 now. (suprised me, they still have replacements for the phone they discontinued )

Now with my new one, I went to Get It Now. When connecting it stops and gives me this error:

"Unable to retrieve catalog. Please try again later. (1281)"

Anyone have this phone know what's up with it? I see no reason why it wouldnt connect...

Also, I've noticed that I'm never in Digital, just 1X, it was like that before I replaced that, I can't remember if it has always been, I live in the Detroit area of michigan where there is strong digital service, so why is it 1X instead of Digital?
