get it now for this phone was very limited...as far as ringtones only poly tones were available(i.e. modtones, xringer)...sony music box offers true tones (which is the song, not a series of "beeps")...and until today it is has been unavailable on this phone...they are kind of expensive but they sound pretty good...

I got a question about Sony Music Box since I've never used it. Is there a website like the Modtone where you can view/sample the song, put it in your wish list then download it to your phone, instead of burning airtime to browse/search/samples the song before you download it??? Any help will be greatly appreciated. 🙂

Sounded kind of interesting, but they lost my interest when I found that I need to have Real Player installed in order to listen to the website samples.

What's the problem with Real Player? 😕

It is just another competing player with Microsoft's Windows Media Player. And Real Player offers a FREE version.

So why the problem?

Try reading a few of the postings a ways back and you will see why! 🤣

I meant available for Sony musicbox downloads on Sony's site 🙂 - I know the phone has been discontinued and isn't available for purchase anymore. So I thought it might not be compatible. It does work though. I wish the speaker on the phone was better, it really distorts on most of the selections.

Just use the headphones....the phone is NOT meant to be an MP3 player with high qaulity speakers.

In fact, for the benifit of those around you, headphones should be used on any MP3 player.

You also may have the volume set to high and causing distortion. Remember, cell phones have a VERY SMALL speaker.
