Audiovox CDM-9900
Is there anything out there right now that even comes close to the 9900??
I have a 9900, and my contract is up, but nothing out there seems even remotely close to this phone. I would love to keep it, but I'm not sure how long it will last âšī¸ Plus, my state is going to be passing a hands-free law, and I would like to have bluetooth. eeerrrrrr..... any suggestions?? đ

I too love this phone. I have had it for a LONG TIME. I have dropped it to many times to count. Nothing ever happens to it.
Sadly, the outer surface is showing wear. I must move on to another and in a quandry. I visit my local Vz store all the time. I look and look. I know they must think I am nutty but I don't care.
I have looked at the enV, SCH a990, the Blackberries, SCH u540 and others.
I would be interested in knowing what the people who have had and loved this phone went on to buy.

I too had the CDM-9500 and the CDM-9900 and looked for months with no viable alternative. Finaly I chose the LG VX-9700. It's not the phone the Audiovox CDM-9900 was but thats all there is for now. You might be able to get a new one from Verizon for $25. Maybe!
