I finally found something I don't like about the 9900

I recharging pin is worn out after about (1) year. I want Audiovox to fix it. I will let you all know that outcome.

after a year? they may fix it, but they will charge you for it.

If it has been less than a year, it is covered by 100% by the manufacturer's warranty. Over a year your insurance with Verizon will cover it.

Well I contacted Audiovox, and they said no deal, and charged me $75.00 to replace a .15 cent pin. Moral of the story is this. I dragged my feet during the warranty period because I did not want to be without the phone. They would not even discount the repair. So UTS StarCom/Audiovox or what ever they want to call themselves, has received the last phone purchase and request for service from me. I will now travel in the direction of LG when the next "new every two" Verizon contract comes due in October 2006. Rolling Eyes
