I operated month to month with out a contract after my 2 year agreement expired, as I was waiting for the Audiovox CDM 9500 to come out. But if you attempted to change your plan in any way Verizon dumped you right back into a 1 or 2 year contract. The Turtle!, bless his green shell is correct! 😎

yes anytime you change your plan it DOES extend the agreement....

that does not, however, mean that you will not be eligable for the NE2 $100 credit towards a new phone.

You can be in contract or out of contract...you just need to have your phone for atleast 22 months, a price plan of 34.99 or higher, and you need to be (*or used to be) on a 2 year agreement.

(i.e. Single Rate West 3200 night weekend 1000 mtm, stay with the SAME promo, just change the peak minutes). And Bobby, That's actually illegal if you did it over the phone hun, that's why there's a few lawsuits out there. You can ONLY do a 1 year contract verbally on the phone, if you're already out MORE than 1 year from the date you make changes, legally we can't extend your contract over the phone, we need a physical signature (i.e....

Even if they do change your contract date, which if it was in error they can change back again (happened to me), what counts is how long you had your phone for...keep receipts!!
