I work for Verizon Wireless, and I have not heard about this phone, the 810, the vx8000, or the vx7000 coming out anytime soon at all. I have a couple of contacts with different cell phone mfr's, and they usually let me know ahead of time about release dates... I have not heard that the 7000 is/was cancelled and that the 8000 is taking its place either... I will let you guys know as soon as i hear something, but for now I would be careful believing what other people saying.

😲 If you are a VZW Rep, did you not go to the meeting last Feburary? I did. I too am a SSR (SEnior Sales),and Isaw the dates that they will be available. You should know this man=) Once they show thta dates on the projector, thats all folks.

I'm just a Retail Sales Rep, not to mention i'm in the midwest and we always get stuff last, so i dont get to go to product launch meetings and stuff like that.. I have to figure this stuff out via my contacts... I do know (via an e-mail yesterday), that the 4400 is WSL(while supplies last) and so is the 730..
