Power on/off sounds

Does anyone know how or if you can turn off the Verizon dingy dingy song when it powers on or off??
I LOVE THIS PHONE!!!! 😁
They appear to be hard to come by, so I feel lucky. Especially since I got it FREE!!! 😎 Benefit of being with Verizon/Cellular One since 1993. (bagphone)

The only two effective ways that have been discussed are:

- Leave the phone in Vibrate mode using the * key. This eliminates the startup/shutdown music completely.

- Place a finger over the small speaker grille at the top rear of the phone. This keeps the audible volume down.
